The Ministry of Education recently issued an official paper The Notice from The General Office of The Ministry of Education On Publishing The List Of National and Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites In 2020 (Letter from the Department of Higher Education No.7 2021), announcing the list of construction sites for first-class undergraduate majors in 2020 known as the Double Ten Thousand Plan (national and provincial first-class undergraduate majors). The Product Design Major from the Media and Art Design Department in our school is on the list, selected as one of Zhejiang provincial first-class undergraduate majors construction sites in 2020.
In recent years, our school has thoroughly implemented the policy from the National Conference on undergraduate education in the new era , Opinions of The Ministry of Education on Accelerating The Construction of High Level Undergraduate Education and Comprehensively Improving Talent Training,and the series of requirements from the Six Excellence and One Top-notch 2.0 plan. We issued Instructions on The Implementation of The First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction In Wenzhou Business College, to promote mechanism and system innovation and build a highly open, deeply integrated, diversely collaborative, and effectively adaptable talent training system. We should vigorously carry out the construction of first-class majors and professional certification, systematically promote the construction of first-class courses and Four New project, and strive to enhance first-class undergraduates courses, build first-class majors, and cultivate first-class talents.
In the coming days, our school will fully implement the fundamental task of moral education by strengthening the ideological and political construction of the curriculum and the Four New project. Based on new concepts, new standards and new systems, we will further promote first-class undergraduate education and continuously improve personnel training. We should make our ceaseless contribution to the dynamic and tough practice of The 14th Five Year Plan, and help promote the construction of first-class courses and first-class majors in an all-round way.
