Students from School of Media & Art Design Won the Gold Academy Award in Advertising Art Festival of the Chinese College Students

The 2021 Advertising Art Festival of the Chinese College Students has come to an end. The design work of a Sophomore Cai Shuxian from Class 2, major of Visual Communication and Production won the “Gold Award” in the print advertising category. And she was invited by the organizer to participate in the Gala and Annual Awards Ceremony held in Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Center. The fantastic work is under the guidance of Mr. Chen Xianwang, director of the Department of Visual Communication of School of Media & Art Design. At the same time, Zhou Yuxiao, guided by teacher Ke Siyu of the Department of Video Transmission, won the “Bronze Award” in the national print advertising category.

Academy Award of Advertising Art Festival of the Chinese College Students (referred as the “Academy Award”) is a national professional advertising award for college students. It is held twice every year, in spring and autumn . It is for college students majoring in advertising, marketing, communication, art, design, new media, animation and other related majors to create creative  and professional works. It is quite influential among Chinese communication and advertising-related colleges and students. The Academy Award was founded in 1999. After 21 years of evolution, its activities cover 23 provinces, 4 municipalities, 4 autonomous regions, 2 special administrative regions, and 2,578 faculties and departments of more than 1,240 universities and colleges overseas. Every year, more than 1.5 million teachers and students participate in the competition directly, and the organizer would receive more than 400,000 creative works from students from colleges and universities across the country.
