On April 22, the reporter learned that three students of Wenzhou Business College, Chen Beiyi, Shen Dongyu and Zhao Ziqian, were admitted to University College London, which is ranked 8th in the world by QS. According to reports, WZBC has received a total of 2,700 master's offers from more than 50 overseas universities this year. Among them, nearly 200 students have entered the world's top 100 universities, which has made a new record in the admission numbers.
Since 2011, Wenzhou Business College has launched the "Elite Program" project based on the characteristics of students, and has successfully established cooperative relations with more than 100 colleges and universities around the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea and so on. The project consists of various “Undergraduate+Master Programs”, like "4+1"、“3+1+1” and “2+2+1” programs. More than 2,000 students have entered world-renowned universities for further study through the "Elite Class", and there are currently nearly 4,000 students studied in these universities .
Recently, many students have "posted" and shared their joy and gratitude of receiving Master's offers from University of Manchester, University of Leeds, University of Bath, University of Melbourne, Australian National University, University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Auckland, University of Nottingham Ningbo and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University through social platforms
"Going to study for a master's degree in a famous overseas university was once an unattainable dream for me." Chen Beiyi said that the reason why he could realize his dream depended on the encouragement and great help from WZBC.
According to the person in charge of School of International Studies, in order to help students closely connect to world-renowned schools for further studies, the school has established a team with "Five-in-One" comprehensive service, including expert professors, foreign language teachers, college guidance teachers, ideological and political counselors, and educational administrators. The team can meet a series of high-level and personalized needs and services, such as professional improvement, language ability learning, further study planning, academic certification, in the process of students' undergraduate and master's study, and carry out classified and layered teaching according to the characteristics of students.
Based on the continuous improvement of WZBC’s international education ability, the first IELTS test center in southern Zhejiang, which was acknowledged by the official IELTS test institution in the United Kingdom, settled in the college in 2019. In March this year, the first IELTS computer test center in southern Zhejiang was settled in the college. Students don’t need to leave the college to take the IELTS test.
